The name of this website is based on the Bible in the book of John, in chapter 3 verses 14-15, Jesus said: “‘And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believes in him, should not perish, but have everlasting Life.”‘

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

In the book of Numbers chapter 21 verses 4-9, is a story, actually an account (testimony) of Moses, when he made a serpent of brass and put it on a pole, that whenever anyone was bitten by a snake and looked to the brass snake, that person would not die. God told Moses to make a brass snake and put it on the pole because he had sent the snakes to kill the people for speaking against Him and Moses. Then the People asked Moses to pray to God to forgive them and heal them. Now with Jesus, it’s the same way. We all have sins and we will die and we will pay for our sins, if we are not forgiven. This is where we look up to Jesus on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and to save us from the evil one, satan. For Jesus came down from Heaven, to do the Father’s will, that anyone who believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting Life(John6:38). For Jesus came as a living sacrifice for a sin offering, the Lamb of God without blemish, he offered himself up for the remission of sins, that anyone, anyone, who looks to him and believes in him and receives what he did for them on the cross, they will be forgiven of their sins and have eternal Life.

Today is the day of salvation. Harden not your heart, if you hear God’s voice. Tomorrow is not promised, there will be no excuses on Judgement day. It is written in the book of Revelation, that the rich and poor, great and small, all will stand before the throne of God on Judgement day and if your name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.(Revelation20:15, 21:27)

HOW DO YOU GET SAVED?

Jesus said that if you believe in him, you shall not perish but have everlasting Life. In the book of John chapter 3 verse 16, Jesus said: “‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting Life.”‘ And it is also written that if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved! (Romans10:9)
So right now, it doesn’t matter who you are or what you have done. If you believe in your heart and pray these words or something similar, Jesus will be with you and you will be saved!

PRAY..Lord Jesus, I believe you came down from Heaven, I believe you are the Son of God, I believe you died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins, I believe you resurrected on the third day and now you are seated at the right hand of GOD, I repent of all my sins, I receive you as my Lord and Savior, forgive me of my sins. Amen.

With that prayer, by faith you are now saved! You are washed clean by the blood of Jesus, you now belong to God the Father, you are now a child of God because of his son Jesus the Christ (John 1:12)! The angels in Heaven are rejoicing over you! I rejoice with you! Hallelujah! May the Lord God Almighty always watch over you, protect you and finish the work that he started in you! Thank you Jesus!

I AM SAVED NOW WHAT?

Now that you are saved, grow in the knowledge of God and Jesus the Christ, read your Bible, if you don’t have one, get one. I recommend as a new believer, you get a hard copy of the Holy Bible. Jesus will manifest himself to you, to let you know that he is with you. Be grounded in the faith and gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ because our adversary the devil will try to take you off the path of Life! Beware of false teachers, false prophets, false doctrines and false teachings. There are many of them out there! The only way to know if something is false, is when you know the Truth. God’s word is the Truth, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God bless you. The Lord Jesus Christ will lead you and guide you, trust in him always.
