A Pharisee or also known as a teacher of the Law of Moses, came to Jesus at night and asked him, how does one enter into the Kingdom of God? Jesus answered that, “‘you must be born again”‘ in order to see the Kingdom of God and to enter into the Kingdom of God. Jesus explained that it is not being born a second time from your mother’s womb, that is born again, but being born of water and of the Spirit.
So how is a person born of water and of the Spirit? The first part is born of water, which is the natural birth from your mother. The second is of the Spirit, which is of a supernatural birth from God the Father through His Son Jesus the Messiah(Christ). Starting in the book of John Chapter 1 verse: 10, the scripture says ” He(JESUS) was in the world and the world was made by him and the world knew him not. He came unto his own and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”. There is no other way into the Kingdom of Heaven, but only by being born again, through believing in the Son of God Jesus, who was sent down from Heaven to save the world. Jesus has the key to Heaven. There is no other name, no other person, no other thing on the earth that can give you access to Heaven. Heaven belongs to God and if you don’t know him, how will you get there? Why would you want to be there? Why would he let you in, if you don’t know him and he doesn’t know you because of your sins? Your sin can only be cleansed through the forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross at Calvary. Once your sin is forgiven, it is forgiven forever. You are made clean and new and whole, the old is passed away and you become a new creature, you become born again. Now after you are born again and you fall to the flesh and sin and you are aware of it, you must repent of it to God in order to be forgiven and cleansed from your sin. There is no way around it, sacrificing animals year after year is not going to cleanse away your sins, doing good deeds is not going to cleanse away your sins, but the only way is by God forgiving you of your sins, which is through the blood of his son Jesus, that anyone who believes on him, their sins are forgiven and they will not perish, but will have everlasting life. It is written, ” The wages(price) of sin is death”, but Christ came and paid that price for you because God loves you. If you don’t receive what he’s done for you, then you will pay the price of sin yourself in the Lake of Fire.
